Banco Frances, Plaza de Mayo

Banco Frances building , 1929 - corner of Reconquista and Rivadavia

The intricate lower part of the facade in the Spanish Plateresque style, (so it says here on wikipedia) and looks great up close especially next to the big brass door. Its also the only building ive seen here with an italian style Loggias and a tower. I like the richness of the detail in the facade at the lower levels, the Plain middle section and then the loggias near the top, it seems layered, like a cake. I wonder if the bank manager sits up in the top of the tower?
